The Pakistan Society was originally formed in 1951 to give the British who had lived and worked in Pakistan, and had grown to love the country, opportunities to get together with Pakistanis who now lived in Britain. Our motto, ‘Bringing Pakistan and Britain Together’, is as relevant today as it was when the Society came into being. The atmosphere of our meetings and events continues to be similar to that of a club.
The Society is registered as a charity (number 249020). The Chairman, the Officers and Committee Members of the Society all give their time to The Pakistan Society on a voluntary basis, for no remuneration.
