She showed short clips of what they filmed during the floods, the people and stories they covered. Lisa Robinson (BBC World Service Trust) talked of the importance of information for disaster-affected populations in the wake of a crisis and how this differs from news. She explained how radio was used effectively in flood affected areas of Pakistan during this time. Dr. Daanish Mustafa (Lecturer in Geography, Kings College, London) spoke about the course of the river Indus, the barrages built across it, and possible reasons for the floods that occurred.
